A timely visit to Château Siaurac with the ICB

The ICB feels so very lucky to have been able to visit and dine at the beautiful Château Siaurac in Néac shortly before it closes to the public: appellations Pomerol, Saint Emilion and Lalande de Pomerol for the wine tour and an expertly guided visit through their chais ending with a tasting; the “Jardin Remarquable” surrounding the château with its centuries-old trees in their colorful autumn coats; an exceptional meal in the private dining room and the privilege of visiting the gorgeous guest rooms upstairs !  An altogether perfect day for all ages...

After lunch on the banks of the Dordogne River, it was garden time at Château Franc la Fleur in St. Magne de Castillon: lovely well-established gardens and organic grape vines. Can you guess? Well, yes: we were treated to another wine tasting! Great friends and good times come first with the...
